How do I verify my Facebook Business Manager?

To access the WhatsApp Business API, you must have a verified Facebook Business Manager account.

If you don't have a Business Manager yet, you can create one at the following link -> Create Facebook Business Manager

1. Once your FB Business Manager account is created, access it and in the top-left menu, go to 'More Tools' and click on 'Business Settings'.

2. Within 'Business Settings', look for the 'Security Center' option in the left-hand menu. A window will appear where you will see the Start Verification button.

3. If you cannot click the button, it is because it is disabled. You will need to take a couple of extra steps, but don't worry, it's very easy!

4. Open a new browser window, go to Facebook for Developers, and log in with the Facebook user account you used for your FB Business Manager.

5. In the My Apps section, you will find the 'Create App' button on the right side. Click it. Don't worry, this app won't have any functionality; you are only creating it to enable the verification button.

6. A new window will appear where you must select the app type. Select the last one: 'Other' and click 'Next'.

7. Now you will need to add your app name (it can be anything), an email address, and select your business manager account. Once you enter the information, click 'Create App' to finish.

8. A new 'Add Product' view will appear. You can find your app ID in the top left corner. Click on it to copy it.

9. Return to your Facebook Business Manager account, look for the Apps section in the side menu, and click 'Add'. Paste your App ID there.

10. Wait 10 minutes and refresh the page. Once you have completed these steps, you will be able to see and select the Start Verification button.
